Allied Health Assistant
Kaitlyn Caley
Kaitlyn is a dedicated Allied Therapy Assistant with a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and five years of experience in the aged care sector, working across both community and residential settings. Currently, she is advancing her expertise by pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Dementia Care at the University of Tasmania.
Her passion for dementia care began early in her career when she first encountered the challenges faced by individuals living with dementia. She is committed to helping not only those diagnosed but also their families, carers, and the wider community. For Kaitlyn, making a difference means enabling people to accomplish tasks they never thought possible after their diagnosis—giving them a renewed sense of independence and confidence.
She firmly believes that dementia is a disease, not a normal part of aging. By gaining a deep understanding of each person’s background and needs, she strives to provide meaningful, individualized support that enhances their quality of life.
Outside of her studies and work, Kaitlyn enjoys knitting, reading, and playing netball, both socially and competitively— activities that keep her balanced and energised as she continues to make an impact on the lives of those she helps.
