About: Dr Tom Moodie

An Australasian-trained specialist in geriatric and general medicine, Dr. Tom Moodie leads the team at Age Well Albany. He combines compassion with deep expertise in aging-related care, with interests in Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, falls prevention, frailty, rehabilitation, and complex medical conditions.

As a visionary leader in geriatric care, Tom spearheaded the establishment of the geriatric medicine service at Albany Hospital. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the hospital’s rehabilitation unit, driving innovation and improving patient outcomes. Through his commitment and forward-thinking approach, Tom has set new standards for integrated care in the region.

Tom is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM). Originally from New Zealand, he has worked in Auckland, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. He has made Albany his home along with his wife, and their two daughters.
